Steve Kroft is celebrating 20 years as a CBS News correspondent and his 10th with 60 Minutes. An award-winning journalist and investigative reporter, in 1994, his profile of then-Senator Bob Dole earned his an Emmy Award. In 1992, his exclusive interview with then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton and Hillary, proved to be one of the defining moments of the campaign. He received a Peabody award for his report "Friendly Fire," which included videotape of a Gulf War incident where two American servicemen were accidentally killed by an American helicopter pilot.
